With over 30 years of experience as a guitarist and 26 years of dedicated teaching, Keith Krumrich is passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical talents. He studied Jazz Theory and Performance at McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota, and brings a well-rounded, professional approach to every lesson.
Keith specializes in acoustic, acoustic fingerstyle, and electric guitar, and also offers instruction in classical guitar and bass. His teaching spans a broad range of styles—including jazz, contemporary, and classical—and he also provides support in songwriting, recording, and worship arts.
In addition to guitar instruction, Keith has a strong passion for music production and is developing both private and group classes to help students dive deeper into the creative process. His goal is to cultivate a vibrant, encouraging community where musicians of all levels can collaborate, learn, and grow.
Keith regularly performs throughout the community and loves being part of the vibrant Lakeshore arts scene. He’s deeply appreciative of the many opportunities our area provides for musicians, artists, and creatives of all kinds.
As a father of four, Keith has seen firsthand the value of early music education through Kindermusik and is proud to share that experience with others as an instructor at Take Note Studio—where he’ll be entering his 12th year this fall.
Fun fact: Outside of music, Keith enjoys fishing, canning, cooking, collecting candles, and one of his favorite pastimes—playing music with his family.
