Tom studied music in the back of a 1964 Ford Country Squire station wagon, listening to his parents and siblings sing along on long country drives. He grew up in a house that looked like a used music store had exploded, and he spent countless hours making music with whatever instrument he could get his hands on.

He remembers recording songs from the radio onto a Panasonic tape recorder and then spending hours searching for the “right” accompaniment—experimenting with piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele.

These days, Tom still loves sitting in his sunroom, layering tracks and creating music of his own. But what he loves even more is discovering the songs, sounds, and styles that inspire other people, and finding ways to help them connect with their own musical passions.
