Music Classes for Kindergartners/1st graders in Manitowoc & Sheboygan
When kids learn big concepts in groups, it’s more likely to stick. Level 5 music classes in Manitowoc and Sheboygan introduce music notation, and introduction to playing 5 different instruments throughout the year: drums, voice, glockenspiel, piano, and ukulele, and different genres of music. Children participate in ensembles while improving their problem-solving and literacy skills.
Level 5 provides a variety of music and instruments in a joyful, encouraging, team-building environment. Level 5 music classes teach children how to read musical notation, play melodic and rhythmic instruments, provide an outlet to explore new genres, and give children what they need to succeed in future instrument-specific private music lessons.

1. Are they any other class options?
Yes! Look below for our "Family-Style" classes for more class options. Still not seeing anything that works? Email info@takenotestudio.net for additional info.
2. How does enrollment work?
Enrollment is continuous and year-round, like a membership, and is all-inclusive of weekly classes, studio events, apps, and outings. You can withdraw at anytime, with 2 week's notice, using our withdrawal form.
3. How does tuition work?
Tuition is processed on the 5th of each month and is the same amount each month, no matter how many lessons are in a month in order to provide ease and predictability for families. Tuition has been averaged over the course of a year. It is pro-rated when enrolling mid month.
4. Are there trial classes?
We don't (normally) provide trial classes as it does take 3-5 weeks for students to feel comfortable in class and for parents to experience the full benefit. If, after a month of classes, you are not satisfied with the experience, you can withdraw with no further obligation.
5. Are there make-up classes?
Yes! We offer monthly options for make-up classes, and you are always welcome to come to a different class during the week as well.

What’s Kindermusik?
Kindermusik is a program designed specifically for children between the ages of 0 and 6. It combines music, movement, storytelling, and play into an engaging environment that helps children develop their musicality, social skills, language development, motor skills, and creativity. The program also helps foster a lifelong love of music.
